Information Collection and Use by Vusiq.com
Vusiq.com collects user submitted information such as name, email address, and age to authenticate users and to send notifications to those users relating to the Vusiq.com service. Vusiq.com also collects other profile data including but not limited to: personal interests, gender, age, in order to assist users in finding each other. By using Vusiq, you are consenting to have your personal data transferred to and processed in the United States

Vusiq.com also logs non-personally-identifiable information including IP address, aggregate user data, and browser type, from users. This data is used to host our live battle rap and recording studio feature.

User Profile information including members' pictures and first names are displayed to people in order to facilitate user interaction in the Vusiq.com social networking community. Email addresses are used for the purposes of inviting new friends to join Vusiq, to add users to members' friends' networks, and to send notifications related to the service. With the exception of inviting friends, adding friends, and notifications, a user's email address is not shared or displayed to people within a user's personal network. Users within a personal network communicate on Vusiq.com with each other through the Vusiq.com service, without disclosing their email addresses. Users' full names are never directly revealed to other members. To facilitate searching and finding friends and acquaintances on the service, Vusiq.com allows users to search for other members using display name or band name.

We may also use a user's email address to send updates, a newsletter or news regarding the service. Users may choose not to receive email of this type by changing sending us an email at report@vusiq.com with the subject "Do not send me notification emails"

You post User Content (as defined in the Vusiq Terms of Use) on the Site at your own risk. Although we allow you to set privacy options that limit access to your pages, please be aware that no security measures are perfect or impenetrable. We cannot control the actions of other Users with whom you may choose to share your pages and information. Therefore, we cannot and do not guarantee that User Content you post on the Site will not be viewed by unauthorized persons. All such sharing of information is done at your own risk. Please keep in mind that if you disclose personal information in your profile or when posting comments, messages, photos, videos, Marketplace listings or other items , this information may become publicly available.

Vusiq allows access to site information by third party search engine "crawlers" (e.g. Google, Yahoo, MSN, Ask). Vusiq takes action to block access by these engines to personal information such as your email, password, birthday.

Vusiq sells merchandise such as clothing on the site. In doing so, we collect credit card information on our site. This credit card information is not stored by our database but goes directly to the appropriate credit card procession company. Vusiq would never disclose your credit card or any personal information or purchase information to any Vusiq businesses or third party companies.

We may provide information to service providers to help us bring you the services we offer. Specifically, we may use third parties to facilitate our business, such as to host the service at a co-location facility for servers, to send out email updates about Vusiq, to remove repetitive information from our user lists, to process payments for products or services, to offer an online job application process, or to provide search results or links (including sponsored links). In connection with these offerings and business operations, our service providers may have access to your personal information for use for a limited time in connection with these business activities. Vusiq members can invite friends to join the service by sending invitation emails via our automated invitation system. Vusiq.com does not store the email addresses that members provide. Vusiq.com does not sell these email addresses or use them to send any other communication besides invitations, invitation reminders (up to three (3) per email address).

Vusiq members may also store email addresses of people they know in their internal Vusiq address book and may also choose to send invitations and other communications to those addresses.

Use of Cookies
Vusiq.com uses cookies to store visitors' preferences and to record session information, for purposes including ensuring that visitors are not repeatedly offered the same advertisements and to customize newsletter, advertising, and Web page content based on browser type and user profile information. Vusiq.com users may modify or remove any of their personal information at any time by logging into their account and accessing features such as Edit Profile and Account Info.

Access and control over most personal information on Vusiq is readily available through the profile editing tools. Vusiq users may modify or delete any of their profile information at any time by logging into their account. Information will be updated immediately. Individuals who wish to deactivate their Vusiq account may do so on the My Account page. Removed information may persist in backup copies for a reasonable period of time but will not be generally available to members of Vusiq.

Where you make use of the communication features of the service to share information with other individuals on Vusiq, however, (e.g., sending a personal message to another Vusiq user) you generally cannot remove such communications.

Vusiq may use information in your profile without identifying you as an individual to third parties. We do this for purposes such as aggregating how many people in a network like a band or movie and personalizing advertisements and promotions so that we can provide you Vusiq. We believe this benefits you. You can know more about the world around you and, where there are advertisements, they're more likely to be interesting to you. For example, if you put a favorite movie in your profile, we might serve you an advertisement highlighting a screening of a similar one in your town. But we don't tell the movie company who you are.

Email Choice/Opt-out
Members who no longer wish to receive updates or notifications may choose not to by selecting 'Do not send me notification emails' in the user profile 'Account Settings'. Users who do not wish to receive Vusiq.com newsletters may choose not to by selecting 'Do not send me Vusiq newsletters' in the user profile 'Account Settings'. All notification emails and Vusiq.com newsletters also include the above instructions for opting-out of those communications in the future.
